A North Island hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Specialist to meet the demands of their expanding Emergency Department. With 50,000 annual attendances of both adults and children, this department is recognised for 12 months of emergency medicine training for up to 12 registrars. A brand new Emergency Department has been commissioned in early 2011 along with an associated Assessment and Diagnostic Unit (ADU). These new facilities will boast state of the art technology, innovative models of care, patient flow designs and an expanded medical workforce.

This busy Emergency Department is ready for you to join their team in assisting with the treatment of their emergency admissions. As an Emergency Medicine Specialist you will consult from diagnosis though to treatment of acute and urgent illnesses and injuries that may be life-threatening and require immediate attention. Working with an experienced team that will provide support, you will be sure to give a level of care that will be unparalleled across the health profession.
