This directorate provides services across a range of settings including hospital, community and home-based visits. The service serves a large population area and delivers assessment, treatment, and consultative services to consumers of all ages with mental health issues.

As a General Adult Psychiatrist for this Mental Health Service you will be accountable for clinical practice, act as a responsible clinician, appropriate record keeping, service development and research to name a few. Diagnosing the nature of mental health illnesses, leading the treatment plan including medication and reviewing progress is all in a day’s work here with many other avenues and areas of interest for you to explore.
