Work as a Radiologist at this North Island hospital. It is a 400+ bed accredited public facility providing acute and elective care for a region of over 150,000 people. Radiology facilities include all diagnostic modalities, except PET, plus a fully equipped interventional suite.

As a suitably qualified Consultant Radiologist, your contribution to the care and development of the department will be a key focus in your position here. Working alongside seven Radiologists, you will be part of a cohesive, friendly team in one of the more advanced departments in the country. With the latest in medical imaging equipment, you have access to MRI, CT, and ultrasound machinery to name a few. The work of the department is varied and often challenging. The Radiologists are by necessity multi skilled, but the development of a special interest is supported.

This region lies on the eastern side of New Zealand’s North Island and is blessed with a Mediterranean type climate. It has several world class wineries within a 10 km radius of the major cities and there is excellent food, cultural events and recreational activities to be enjoyed.
